Ryan Talbert

Ryan Talbert is a composer and show designer based in Arkansas. He’s worked with multiple schools across the state to create custom and competitive productions. In addition to writing for the field, he’s a music educator, trombonist, and founder of RyanWritesMusic.com


Phillip Franklin

Phillip H. Franklin is one of the Assistant Director of Bands at Cabot High School.  In addition to his work with the Cabot High School Band, Phillip is active in the marching arts as a professional drill designer. He has designed drill for high school band programs across the country and his clients have had numerous Bands of America regional finalist appearances, state medalists and superior rated performances at various Region and State Assessments.  He is passionate about providing marching ensembles with artistic and engaging drill to perform.  He is also a Co-Director of the Cabot High School Winterguard which has been a WGI Regional Class champion, Finalist and AMAA Class Champion.

 

Phillip Franklin lives in Cabot with his wife Lauren and son Henry with their dog Clyde.  When he is not conducting, teaching or writing drill, he enjoys traveling to visit family, hiking and camping.


Matt Simpson

Matt Simpson is one of our many talented designers here at RyanWritesMusic! Matt is also the lead designer at Brass and Beyond Designs, where he oversees all aspects of the company including drill design and choreography.

He is an active educator, adjudicator, and clinician in the central Arkansas area and is a proud alum of The Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Allie, and being the ultimate girl dad to his two daughters, Ruby and Sophie.


Se Hyun Jun

Se Hyun is a freelance percussion arranger who specializes in marching arts. Their marching experience started off as a clarinetist in high school marching band, but they also started studying percussion alongside clarinet. Se Hyun studied secondary education and percussion in Penn State University, and now works in the teaching field. Se Hyun's writing style has been heavily influenced by Jim Ancona, Tom Rarick, and Ivan Trevino."


Logan Parnell

Logan Parnell is a show designer and freelance sound designer based in Arkansas. He’s worked with multiple schools across the state to help them achieve their desired pageantry soundscapes. He is also a music educator, trombonist, and is excited to be a part of the team at Ryanwritesmusic.com!
